Lifes's Mission

My daughter bought a book called Achieving My Life's Mission and I just had to read it. It inspired me to think about what I had accomplished already in my life but more importantly what was it that I still wanted to do. We all have choices to make and how we use our time to be of service. My main goal was to be the best mom I could be.
What did that mean: well here goes:
1. I made goals for my kids every year: Spiritual, Physical, Mental and Material
2. I decided that I wanted them to be able to have some type of skill that would help them provide for their families if they stayed home. ie: Life guarding, piano, singing, teaching, University
3. I wanted them to know that family comes first and that their siblings would be their best friends... so they needed to know each other and have fun together.
4. I wanted to have them experience life to the fullest, so we did museums, parks, studied history, visited different countries, got involved in a community service at least once a year.
5. I wanted them to know that Heavenly Father loved them and that he listened to their prayers, that obeying the commandments, being virtueous and morally clean was important to their spiritual and mental well being.
6. I wanted them to know that their parents loved them with no conditions and with an eternal perspective that we were a forever family.

We have a family Moto: Life
L -Laughter
I - Intergrity
F - Friendship
E - Eternity
